After figuring out which charity I am going to create a poster for and taking pictures, then decidng which image I will use, i went onto photoshop to start creating the poster. I used the filter 'sumi-e' on the main person in the image, to make her stand out from the everything else and to add to the effect of being alone. I placed the charity logo on the top right corner as I thought this would be the most effective spot to place it, its eye catching and bright compared the background is being white (snow). This poster contains the main contact information, telephone, fax and address.

The task we were set to do was to find a charity and create a poster to advertise what the certain charity does for youths. The charity I used was Llamau, a youth charity that helps the homeless in Wales.

These photos I have taken in lesson time, I liked to use different angles and positions to get more of an effect of a young homeless person. By the person not looking at the camera, and the weather conditions these images have a sympathetic look to them. I only used one of these pictures...

These are the images I found and selected before I began my magazine to inspire me in creating my own. They are teen magazines who sale to the age range I am(15-17 years old). They use a different range of colours, and text which I tryed to use.

The images shown were the starting point for creating my magazine.

Contents.

This is the content page, it is the first inside page that I created, its got the information of the various pages that would be in the magazine.

I created this by using a main image, placed on the right side of page, I cropped the image using the ' Quick Selection Tool', here i mangaged to just get the image of the boy focusing on his ipod, I used this image because it shows the privilages of being in Sixth Form on the first page you see.

I also used a bold colour as the background so I could use the white and a light red shade as the colour for the text, by doing this the text stands out more clearly.

Magazine - Inspire.

I have produced this front cover of a magazine which is to advertise the new sixth form center. I've used different fonts, images and colours which attracts the eye of the reader. It is aimed at people within the Sixth Form, and also people that are thinking of joining the sixth form center, so a range of teenage people aged 15-17 years old.

I made this by using the programme Photoshop. I filterd the main person in my image, by using the effect of 'sumi-e'. I used different fonts, and also angled the writing which adds to the detail of the front cover.

Before i began to produce the front cover i did a powerpoint, finding different front covers of magazines already on the market, which had the same age range as what i was working to. By doing this i kept looking back at the images i found and made sure my front cover was sumular to them.
