Filming

From the first time we tried to film we realised that the first idea wasn't possible, so as a group we decided on changing the idea to something more simple but yet still as effective in the genre of horror. The idea we came up with for the second filming is that, a young adult is babysitting for her parents friends daughter, whilst through out the night she is getting terrorised. We chose this as it seems innocent and is a good story line as many viewers could relate to the feeling of being alone. We filmed on the 25Th January in James's house, with Daisy Milton being the main character and James Pemberton stepped in and acted out the dark figure lurking around. After we finished, I believe that it was a successful evening, capturing most of what we needed to do. As well as filming we took photos for our second ancillary task, creating a magazine front cover.

Here is a few photos of us filming.

This image here is James filming and me doing the sound, picking up every noise that was created.

This image here shows me recording whilst James is doing the sound.

This image shows me recording again but using the stand, and positioning myself correctly.

This image shows Abbie recording.

This last image shows clearly my using the sound equipment.

Poster

FINAL. This is the final and improved poster that I created I think that it is effective and clearly relates to the teaser trailer. used different effect on the main image which is the model, darkening the eyes gives the more effective look of horror and most of all make it look more scary. The way in which the opacity of the model is lowered you can see the old looking house through her, I think this gives off a sensitive emotion towards the girl as people can see through her, which links in with the teaser trailer, messing around with her and taking her for a fool. 'The senseless' is placed at the top of the poster where it stand out and eye catching. The use of the words "You're Never Alone" is because this represents the whole meaning of the teaser trailer, in a way that the character is never alone, I believe this will make the audience feel vulnerable and will attract them into watching the over all trailer. Also I decided to get rid of showing the actaul date and replacing it with 'coming soon' as it adds to the effect the viewer has towards the poster and would make them feel more interested in the whole poster as well as the trailer.

This is the first mock up of the final poster, I have done this to see what the final will look like, and what can be improved to make it look more effective.

These are the stages through photo shop I did, making it is to the size of A4. I started off with making the clouds filling up the whole of the whole of A4 adding a different layer each time. As well as on layer 3 I photo shopped the necklace the model was wearing, out.

These are the original photos I took and used to create my poster. I wanted to create an scary ending poster so using a old looking house as well as the main character and dark clouds surrounding the image. Overall I think these image together Will create an effective and clear poster.
