From doing the research into music magazines, I went and took photos in the style of them, for example close up (head shots), then others that catch her full body, also I used different angles to have more of an option when choosing which ones I wanted to use. I used a prop (a microphone) which defines who she is (a singer), so when I was taking the photos I thought focusing just on a microphone in her hand will have make a good image, as a microphone is the main thing used by singers, also I changed the clothes she wore so I could use them on different pages within my magazine. By doing these images I managed to get all my images to use in my magazine, but when I used them, i edited and took out the background using Photoshop CS4. Here are all my images I took:
^
I used this image as my front cover, as I think it is eye catching and is a strong image to use for a front cover. the text I use on the front cover will also clearly stand out.
This is the image I used on my double page spread, it a good image to use as its a image of the main thing which defines to everyone that she is a singer.
These images I tryed being different, I tryed to make the microphone and her hand to stand out as well as her in the background, but overall when I looked at these images I thought they were too dark in the background and you couldn't clearly see her, and I thought that this image would be useless to use as the double page spread is all about her.
This image I used on my content page, as I think it fits well with the whole layout of the content page.
This image I used on my double page spread as my main image, I think its a really good picture as when I took out the background the leg went behind the text, which adds to the whole double page spread, I like how she is doing a different pose as other images I took, its edgy and therefore I think this image is good, especially as she is looking at the camera.

You've used so many different camera angles and they all look really professional!
